About Me
From an early age I had a serious interest in making art. Encouraged by my family, friends and teachers, I pursued that passion. I earned a Fine Arts degree from Grant McEwan College in 1999(Edmonton, AB), where I served as the Fine Art class president.
Since that time I have been an actively practicing artist. In my artistic career, I have participated in over 45 shows. The Edmonton ArtWalk being a part of of my annual exhibition circuit since I began. My work has been sold both across Canada and internationally. I have also received recognition for my artistic contributions both with awards and in publications.
I am a realistic still life painter and my medium of choice is acrylic on canvas, I also draw with a wide selection of mediums. During my career I have done a variety of commission work involving all kinds of styles and subject matter. I enjoys the challenge that comes with commission work. The process of customizing each and every piece and style can be very freeing and encourages me to always try new things creatively.
I live and create in Edmonton, Alberta, Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands of First Nations and Métis people, with my son Miles and dog Otis.

Artists Statement
For me the act of putting brush to canvas or pencil to paper is a passion. The artwork I create depicts the intimate shapes and details of adored childhood objects and the memory they evoke. I take notice of the beauty that exists in the smallest marble or a wrapped piece of candy and shares that with the viewer. My art resonates with people of all ages. It serves as a universal visual diary. Watching people from 1 to 100 get excited and smile at my my art is beyond inspirational.
